<Figure A>
Much of my work in recent years has been in response to the growing sense of collective anxiety and existential dread in relation to increasing global complexity and the mounting doom-sense we all seem to find ourselves faced with daily. <Figure A> is a character- an outside observer, an evocation of my split consciousness, a disassociation, a mourner, a witness, a spirit-with which I attempt to name, address, and make some sense of this ever-present feeling of dis-ease. She appears in several iterations of my performative work.
